Three-domed volcano in Armenia "Gutanasar"
Gutanasar Volcano
Gutanasar is relatively remote from other mountain peaks of the Geghama Highlands. The height of the volcano is 2299.6 meters above sea level, the relative height is 300 m. The mountain is covered with a thin layer of meadow.
This place is marked on Google map as Black Wall. It is located near the village of Fantan.
The “Black Wall” is the frozen lava of the extinct Gutanasar volcano.
You can drive to the wall in a passenger car, but very, very carefully. The road is dirt, with deep ruts. If the wheel slips into a rut, it will be difficult to get out.
