The Jermuk waterfall is one of the largest in height in the country, the cascading Jermuk waterfall reaches a height of almost 70 meters: the water overcomes three domed cliffs before flowing through a powerful tributary of the same name into the Arpa River. There are cities such as Vayk, Jermuk and Yeghegnadzor on it. The altitude of the area above sea level here is 1700-2200 meters. This natural landmark is located within the city of Jermuk, in the Vayots-Dzorv marz of the historical Syunik region. From the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, to the waterfall is about a couple hundred kilometers.
