Everyone who comes to Lake Sevan must go to the Sevanavank Monastery, one of the most famous and popular in Armenia. However, on the western shore of the lake there is an equally ancient, but, let's say, completely unpopulated Ayrivank monastery. The monastery is absolutely tiny, in fact, it is just a detached church built back in the 9th century, but somehow historically it has been called a monastery.
